Disappointment is the feeling of dissatisfaction that follows the failure of expectations or hopes to manifest. Similar to regret, it differs in that a person feeling regret focuses primarily on the personal choices that contributed to a poor outcome, while a person feeling disappointment focuses on the outcome itself.

An Expectation, which is a belief that is centered on the future, may or may not be realistic.

We all wake to the day to accomplish something even if it is that perfect cup of coffee. At our best, we will have purpose, direction and contribute to our turning globe.
If we are influenced by the spiritual teachers of our time, how do we live in the present when our agenda is about the future?
Recently I have experienced some disappointment not getting the outcome of my intentions. Did my plan fail or I’m off my manifest game?
Like the Rolling Stones said, ” You can’t always get what you want”. Is what you want really what you want if you don’t get it?
My personal experience informs me that it went all according to some plan that I’m simply to small to see. I no longer ask why.
Are we to become afraid of hope if we fail?
Acceptance in human psychology is a person’s assent to the reality of a situation, recognizing a process or condition (often a negative or uncomfortable situation) without attempting to change it, protest, or exit.
Maybe it is acceptance of all that is… turns out to be bliss.
